J Ladner, is an entrepreneur, educator, and hair and makeup artist with experience in film, television, theater, print, and online media.
He loves spending his life with hands in hair, creating magic, developing new techniques, filming fun how-to videos, sharing his experiences, and engaging, inspiring, and teaching stylists around the world through in-salon classes and social media.
As an independent educator, J creates engaging how-to videos and posts that are geared to help stylists achieve on-trend hair techniques for their guests, showcasing the power of the brands and products we use everyday behind the chair.
J has had the opportunity to do hair across the entire country, and has realized that for as much as we are all different, we also have one thing in common: we all hope to be the best versions of ourselves. As stylists, we wake up with the drive to change people’s lives. J built his brand not only with a passion for hair but for the guests that wear that hair every day.
His goal is to share his story of how he built raving fans in different communities around the country, give guidance in the art of road mapping to help guests achieve their color dreams, and set a new standard for educating guests about professional hair color and styling techniques.
With J Ladner Education, J and his team share his salon reality standards and road mapping system that will help stylists and colorists grow with confidence, gain knowledge of new techniques, and learn how to build their own brands.
J wants everyone to be more inclusive and celebrate the hair industry, with the understanding that there are enough heads to go around and being each other’s accountability partner is what is going to take the industry to the next level.
